CAMBRIDGE – A Cambridge couple was arrested Monday, Jan. 12 after police discovered drug paraphernalia and 3.5 grams of methamphetamine in their home at 432 Third Avenue Southwest.
Shannon and Richard Lind’s two children were taken into care by Isanti County Family Services.
According to Cambridge Police Chief Dave Pajnic, the search at the Lind’s home was the result of a joint investigation by the police department and the Isanti County Sheriff’s Department.
In addition to the meth and drug paraphernalia, officers seized two firearms and $500 in cash.
S. Lind, 28, was home when during the search, along with a child just under two years old. She was arrested and charged with fifth degree controlled substance possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and methamphetamine-related crimes involving children.
Her 39-year-old husband was arrested at his place of employment in Coon Rapids. He was charged with fifth degree controlled substance possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and methamphetamine-related crimes involving children.
Both were taken to the Isanti County Jail.
A nine-year-old child was at school when officers searched the home.
